ABOUT
Sverre works as senior advisor on terrestrial biodiversity at WWF, focusing on Norwegian management and politics. Additionally, he’s a Forest Practice focal point and follow up international work on processes around the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). He has recently been nominated from the WWF-NO office to the working group on species.
He has a background as a biologist and natural resources manager and mainly worked with research (population genetics in plants) and teaching at various universities and institutions before joining WWF. Sverres’ main interests center around nature and biodiversity. He likes wildlife watching, and his favorite animals to observe are birds, butterflies and plants. He also likes hiking, running, and being with his family.
