ABOUT

Jennifer is the Programme Manager of the Arctic Programme, supporting the overall implementation and administration of the programme’s initiatives and reports. As such she coordinates the Arctic Programme’s work and budget planning, and ensures all operational elements needed are in place. She also serves as the secretariat for the Arctic Programme’s Steering Committee.

Jennifer has led a range of collaborative initiatives in international development, government, and academia. Her experience includes coordinating an international programme for research funding and capacity-building in science, leading EU-wide projects on emerging agricultural pests, and driving initiatives for gender equity in science. She holds a doctorate in Ecology from the University of Stirling, on the natural and human impacts on forest genetic resources.

In her free time, she loves being in nature, rock climbing and engaging in activities that bring people together and build community.
