Stefan Ziegler

About

As one of his tasks, Stefan Ziegler is responsible for supporting programmes in the Arctic region. In that capacity, he engages with the government, research institutions, supporters and the wider public. Stefan also oversees program and portfolio development in Asia. He manages multiple projects and provides technical backstopping to species conservation and payment for ecosystem services.

Stefan is a conservation biologist and attained a PhD in biology. His main research focus is on provenance of biological material using stable isotopes. He has been a passionate drummer since his childhood and works as a voluntary judge for the district court.
