At WWF’s Global Arctic Programme (GAP), we are working for a well-managed, biodiverse and resilient Arctic, supporting healthy viable populations of wild species and benefiting the well-being of people in the Arctic and beyond.
We are looking for an intern for the spring of 2026 to help prepare and plan larger meetings and conferences. We’re offering a full-time internship, 38 hours per week. Being able to stay longer is a plus but the internship should not be shorter than four months.
Desirable qualifications
- Have strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail
- Flexible to changing needs and priorities
- Problem-solving mindset and initiative
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent English, both written and verbal
- Have an ability to interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs, which include willingness to try and understand and be tolerant of differing opinions and views.
The WWF Global Arctic Programme is a regional team, with core team staff based in Stockholm, Sweden, and Oslo, Norway and Washington DC, USA. Your supervisor will be guiding you remotely, but the intern has the option to spend the internship at the office in Stockholm. You will be part of a team with dedicated, skilled employees in a stimulating, international environment
