Raija-Leena Ojanen

ABOUT

Raija-Leena is proud to serve as a member of the GAP Steering Group and acts as the liaison between the Global Arctic Programme and WWF Finland’s conservation teams. She is a legal advisor at WWF Finland. With her legal expertise, Raija-Leena supports both the conservation work and the policy advocacy of WWF Finland. She also has a coordination role within the conservation team and acts as deputy conservation director.

Raija-Leena professional background is a 25+-year career in business law at a prominent Finnish law firm. Before joining WWF in 2018, she held the position of Partner and Head of Corporate Advisory, Compliance and CSR. She is a legal “decathlete” with experience of a wide range of areas of law.

Hot yoga and cold water swimming are her secrets to good spirits and good health. Fortunately, Helsinki provides opportunities to take a dip in the sea all year around.
